Abstract

The present paper examines the influence of COVID-19 on firm performance by performing a quantitative methodology based on a set of data from 30 Tunisian financial institutions in a period between 2019 and 2020. The findings stipulated that during the COVID-19 epidemic, firm performance decline. Moreover, the paper confirms that the COVID-19's negative impacts on company performance are less prominent in nations with more sophisticated healthcare systems, financial systems, and institutions.
