The Iranian Economic Review (IER) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal intended to publish original research papers in the field of economics.

IER is indexed in SCOPUS (from 2013 to present) as the largest abstract and citation database of international peer- reviewed journals. 

The main purpose of IER journal is to provide a forum for members of the academic community who are interested in the Iranian economy. Manuscripts are invited and subject to anonymous review.
